Honda Sports Car - S2000

Honda Sports Car - The S2000’s close-ratio, 6-speed manual transmission operates with remarkable smoothness. In 2004, the brass synchronize rings were replaced with carbon pieces. This improved load capacity, abrasion resistance, reliability and overall shift feel.

Honda engineers designed a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission for the S2000. Slick, tough, carbon synchronizers smooth the way, and the overall gear ratios have been chosen for strong acceleration in lower gears.

The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system used on the S2000 contributes greatly to its exceptional handling. The system consists of upper and lower wishbone arms at each wheel, with calibrated coil-over spring/damper units and anti-roll bars.

Body rigidity is crucial to good handling in an open-top roadster, so Honda engineers designed a highly rigid monocoque frame for the S2000. The heart of the structure is a large central tunnel that runs down the middle of the cockpit, which serves as the backbone and main load-bearing structure for the vehicle. The body's high side sills and innovative diagonal (X-bone) bracing at the front and rear of the cockpit provide additional rigidity. Suspension and drive loads from the wheels are fed directly into this structure via highly rigid subframes at the front and rear of the vehicle.

Heavy is bad. Light is good.
It's a simple idea, but it takes sophisticated thinking to make it a reality.
The Science of Power
The 2.2-liter, torque-rich engine in the S2000 produces blistering power while the high X-bone monocoque frame provides excellent rigidity and load distribution.
Adrenalyze Yourself
An impressive 237 hp at 7800 rpm and 162 lb.-ft. of torque at 6800 rpm gives an advanced lesson in acceleration. Factor in performance-oriented gearing, and the S2000 driver is treated to high-revving adrenaline.

S2000 CR - Extreme Performance
The factory-tuned, lighter weight S2000 CR provides more aggressive and track-oriented suspension settings, increased body and chassis rigidity and aerodynamic spoilers tuned for reduced lift and enhanced balance at high speeds.

Good Points of honda accord 3.0 6speed: Beautiful interior and exterior Very powerful engine and as a fact very fast car. Extra head and leg room for a coupe car! One of the few, (if not the only) car with a V6 that is recommended by manufacturer to run off normal fuel.(not high octane!)

Bad Points of honda accord 3.0 6speed: If you've got a heavy foot you might want to reconsider the car as it burns a lot of gas! I personally don't like the trunk of the car when it doesn't have spoiler but if it does then it's a beauty!

General comments of honda accord 3.0 6speed: To be honest - personally speaking I could not ask for anything better! and I will not change this car with anything else. (Well unless you want to give me a Ferrari f350 or something! lol) but yeah. There are only 500 of this model in Canada. The gear box is the same technology and concept as honda/acura NSX. It is very tight, short and aggressive. I have fallen in love with the shifting gear of this car alone! You have to drive it to feel it. Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that this is eventually a Honda so it is easy to modify since you can pretty much find anything with reasonable prices if you're into that kind of stuff! (even though more specific things like cat back and all could get pretty expensive as there are not too many of these cars made! If you want a family car, with POWER and enough room, this could also be the right car for you. Even though two adults would not be that really comfortable to sit in the back two kids will definitely be comfortable taking a ride in this car. The optional navigation system is one of a kind as it is voice activated. All over the biggest bang for the buck!
